Lyndsey & Lewis... {a pom pom filled, barn wedding in Cambridge. With mad dancing skills, pretty awesome stationery, a killer dress and swoon-worthy shoes}

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not adverse to a bit of British weather. Hell, I'm the one in our house who suggests to go for a walk when it is raining. My weather skills were tested on Lyndsey & Lewis' wedding day - we had rain, hail, sleet (in May!!), sun, clouds, blue skies and wind. Really epic, blustery wind. Not pretty wind that ruffles a veil.
    Lyndsey and Lewis got married early May in Fen Ditton church, then everyone jumped on a big green vintage bus to head to the stunning Granary Barns reception venue in Suffolk. I met Lyndsey and the girls at her house in Cambridge...

Then the rain/hail started...
Err Mahh Gerdd, how seriously gorgeous is this dress...
And then on to the sweet little church in Fen Ditton, Cambridgeshire...
Lyndsey arrived on the pretty green bus...
I wasn't allowed to photograph during the ceremony and had to stand at the back, but managed to sneak a couple during the ring exchange and kiss. I like to think I was proper rebellious doing this, but the vicar had cryptically hinted that I could possibly fire off my shutter once or twice at this point in the service. I like to think the vicar winked at me at this moment...
 The cold wind and spitting rain meant there were no family / formal shots outside the church. And no-one threw this. We had our fingers crossed that the showers would pass when we got to the reception...
 We couldn't get on the bus fast enough...
We managed a few group shots in the warmth of the bus...
The reception was in the Granary Barns, Wood Ditton, a new wedding venue in Suffolk...
The rain eased off for half an hour, so we dashed outside for some group photos...

 I love people who adore typography as much as I do...
It would have been rude not to steal Lyndsey and Lewis away for 20 minutes of pure golden sunlight, before the speeches...
 Rob was cracking out that genius wit he's known for!..

Back in for speeches and dancing. Watch out for epic best-man dancing...
