Lucy & Andy... {a candle-lit, wine cave wedding and afternoon tea reception in Yorkshire}

Lucy and Andy are the sort of clients that you hate calling "clients." They've become friends, awesome friends. Their wedding was pretty epic - I could shoot this kind of wedding all day long. The laughs didn't stop, they tea and cake flowed and the relaxed vibe made me feel like I was shooting the wedding of our long time friends. I loved it...every bit of it...
I love travelling for weddings, as we get to see so many beautiful parts of the country. This wedding was set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and from the moment I arrived I was so excited about the day ahead.

We arrived at the village hall in the morning to photograph the prep of hall decorating and sandwich making...
Lucy seemed so calm and relaxed...
After finishing up at the village hall, we headed over to Linton Laithe a lovely little guest house, where Lucy had booked all the rooms for her friends and family. It was such a gorgeous place to get ready...

One Lucy was ready we drove over to the Angel Inn at Hetton for the ceremony in the amazing wine cave...
As the rain started we all headed off to the village hall at Cracoe for the reception, but we just had to stop at a cricket club en route to take some photos in the pavilion...
The village hall looked absolutely amazing...
 Lucy made all the bunting on an old Singer sewing machine...
 Lucy collected all the miss-matched china from charity shops and car boot sales. An Aunt even sent one cup and saucer over from Australia for the wedding...
 Look at the awesome cake!!!!!..
After food we decided to dodge the raindrops and take some more photos outside...
I loved every part of this special day and the heavy rain didn't dampen anyone's spirits. We wish you all the happiness in the world...Congratulations Lucy and Andy - we love you! XxX
