Here are just a couple of photos that I quickly snapped at our village's jubilee celebrations. I had been at a wedding the day before and wanted a day off from being "the photographer," so rebelled a bit and didn't take anywhere near as many photos as I should have done.
It was supposed to be held on the meadow, over the bridge in the village, but due to the fantastic British weather (!!!) there was a last minute change of venue and it was held in the village hall. It was such a fun day and in my opinion wouldn't have had the same spirit to it if it had been held at the original location. Everyone was thrust together in a relatively small space - we had Pimms, shared our food, played games, sang, danced and had a brilliant day.
